It’s that time again, Free Fishing Day for Nevada……

 

 

On this Saturday, June 13th, anglers can participate in Nevada’s Free Fishing Day statewide. Fishing is allowed in any public fishing water in the state without needing a fishing license or trout stamp.  All limits and other regulations apply.

 

As a bonus, Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) has stocked Sparks Marina with 8,000 Rainbow trout for “Kids Free Fishing Day”, a collaboration between NDOW, Sparks Marina, Nevada Bighorns Unlimited, Sparks Parks and Recreation, and the Rotary Club of Sparks.   The kids event runs from 7am-11:30 at the Marina, and is open to kids ages 7 to 17.  Free fishing poles available!
