Pyramid Lake Fishing has re-opened at limited beaches and so far, fishing is reported as good!
Thanks to the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe for their efforts in re-opening some beaches at Pyramid Lake after damaging winter floods. Low water temps and rising lake levels have contributed to a whole new kind of fishing at the lake this spring, and it’s time to get back out on Pyramid. Nevada anglers are reporting catching 10-20 pound fish since the lake re-opened for fishing in February. Remember, the land and beaches have changed due to flooding, so anticipate a different water footprint. Remain cautious when walking and wading out into the lake.
Pyramid Lake fishing permits are now available online-
